The Cider Barn
The Cider Barn is an
attractive barn conversion situated on the edge
of the picturesque, rural village of Luton, less
than four miles from the resorts and beaches of
Teignmouth and Dawlish.
Higher Rixdale Farm extends
over 100 acres and guests are welcome to explore
and enjoy the woodland, apple orchards, duck
ponds and fields where sheep and cows graze. The
Cider Barn has a lovely, open plan living area,
bathed in light from two large arched windows
which look onto a small patio with table and
chairs. Both pretty bedrooms have televisions
with DVD players and views across to the fields
and hills. The Cider Barn is situated between
the owners’ 18th century farmhouse, offering bed
and breakfast accommodation, and one other
holiday property. South Devon offers an
abundance of places to visit and activities to
enjoy, not forgetting the miles of stunning
coastline to explore. For excellent food and
local fayre the Elizabethan Inn is less than a
mile away.
Nearest Coastline: The
beaches at Teignmouth and Dawlish.
Tourist Attractions:
Ashcombe Adventure Centre for quad bikes, clay
pigeon shooting, paintball, archery and fishing.
Golf courses at Dawlish and Teignmouth. Outdoor
pursuits on Dartmoor include walking, climbing
and cycling. National Trust properties and
gardens of A La Ronde, Coleton Fishacre and
